South Mississippi All-Stars beats North Mississippi All-Stars 16-10 in Bernard Blackwell North/South All-Star Game

The South Mississippi All Stars High School quarterback Alan Follis picked up 123 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the South Mississippi All-Stars to a 16-10 win over the North Mississippi All-Stars on Saturday morning at Brandon High School in the annual Bernard Blackwell North/South all-star football game.

South Mississippi All-Stars also received helpful efforts from wide receiver Cayden Bridges who caught 2 passes for 73 yards and running back Robert Henry who rushed 5 times for 32 yards.

North Mississippi All-Stars’ quarterback Jake Weir threw for 99 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Jakobe Pate picked up 21 rushing yards and wide receiver Reid Flanagan had 54 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps South Mississippi All-Stars improve to 34-29-5 all-time.
