Durango’s Demetrius Valdez led all scorers with 21 points as the Trailblazers beat Las Vegas 66-55 in a game at Durango HS.”

Valdez’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 9 free throws during the game.

Las Vegas was led by Marquise Raybon’s 22 points and Michael Berkible added 11. Las Vegas fell to 0-1 overall while Durango improved their record to 1-0.

Durango will host Pahrump Valley on Tuesday Dec. 6 at 6:30pm.
