La Costa Canyon defeats Douglas 49-37

La Costa Canyon’s Haley Dumiak led the way with 16 points as the Mavericks beat Douglas 49-37 in a game at El Capitan High School.”
Dumiak’s points came on 7 field goals and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.
Douglas was led by Ashlynn campbell ‘s 23 points and hailey hughes added 4. Douglas fell to 0-0 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 10-3.
La Costa Canyon will travel to Del Norte High School on Friday Dec. 29 at 12:30pm to play Yosemite.
