Eastern Eagles edges Fairland Dragons 54-52 in Ohio high school basketball game

Eastern Point Guard Evan Leist led all scorers with 19 points as the Eagles beat Fairland Dragons 54-52 in a game at Portsmouth, Ohio.

Leist’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Ian Chinn added 8. while Eastern improved their record to 1-1.

Eastern will host East on Friday Dec. 7 at 4:30pm.
