Perrysburg edges Northview 27-24

Drew Sims accumulated 293 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help Perrysburg to a 27-24 win over Northview on Friday night at Perrysburg.

The Yellowjackets also recieved crucial efforts from Ty Bezek who caught 11 passes for 180 yards and 1 touchdown and Caleb Gerken who rushed 22 times for 84 yards and 1 touchdown.

Northview’s QB Brandon Leach threw for 183 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Jeffrey Blanks Jr. picked up 90 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Cam Corron had 143 receiving yards.

The win helps Perrysburg improve to 4-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Perrysburg travels to Maumee, OH to take on the Maumee Panthers on Friday October 27 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
