Maumee defeats Perrysburg 27-14

RB Devon Cleghorn had 302 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to guide Maumee to a 27-14 win over Perrysburg on Friday night at Maumee.

The Panthers also recieved major efforts from RB Zach Marvin who completed 2 passes for 36 yards and TE Luis Perez who caught 1 pass for 26 yards.

Perrysburg’s Drew Sims threw for 271 yards and 1 touchdown, Caleb Gerken picked up 45 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Ian Riddle had 91 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Perrysburg falls to 4-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
