Methodist Children’s Home Bulldogs travel to Buckholts to open a nonleague showdown on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Central at Buckholts as the Bulldogs (0-0) take on the host Buckholts Badgers (0-0).

Both programs begin the 2025 season even at 0-0, and with no recent meeting on file the matchup is a fresh look at two small-school teams trying to build early momentum. Buckholts hosts the game, and each team follows up with a midweek tilt the following week — Buckholts is scheduled to play at Gustine on Sept. 4, and Methodist Children’s Home hosts Coolidge on Sept. 5.
