Lakeside Eagles edge Medical Lake Cardinals 60-59 in Washington high school basketball game

Lakeside’s Wyatt Johnson led all scorers with 19 points as the Eagles beat Medical Lake Cardinals 60-59 in a game at MLHS.

Johnson’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Ashton Hamilton Becker added 17. Medical Lake fell to 2-5 overall while Lakeside improved their record to 4-5.

Medical Lake’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jun. 9 versus Riverside. Lakeside will travel to on Wednesday Jun. 9 to play Newport.
