Sumner Spartans edge Curtis Vikings 66-64 in Washington high school basketball game

Sumner’s Champ Spencer led all scorers with 17 points as the Spartans beat Curtis Vikings 66-64 in a game at University Place.

Spencer’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Devin Whitten added 14. Curtis fell to 10-2 overall while Sumner improved their record to 6-2.

Curtis’ next game is scheduled to be played at Purdy WA on Thursday Jun. 3 versus Peninsula.
