Mt. Spokane Wildcats defeat Ferris Saxons 71-64 in Washington high school basketball game

Mt. Spokane Guard Xavier Kamalu Vargas led all scorers with 21 points as the Wildcats beat Ferris Saxons 71-64 in a game at Mt Spokane High School.

Kamalu Vargas’ points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 10 of 14 free throws during the game.

Trayce Atkins added 19. Ferris fell to 9-5-1 overall while Mt. Spokane improved their record to 12-2.

Ferris’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 25 versus River Ridge. Mt. Spokane will host Lewis & Clark on Tuesday Jan. 25
