West Valley (Yakima)’s David Lindgren led all scorers with 19 points as the Rams beat Toppenish 55-50 in a game at WVHS.”

Lindgren’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Toppenish was led by Isiah Perez’s 14 points and Adonis Shaul added 10. Toppenish fell to 0-1 overall while West Valley (Yakima) improved their record to 1-0.

West Valley (Yakima) will travel to Southridge on Saturday Dec. 3 at 8:31pm to play Southridge.
