Lewis & Clark Tigers beat Cheney Blackhawks 59-53 in Washington high school basketball game

Lewis & Clark Point Guard Gentz Hilburn led the way with 17 points as the Tigers beat Cheney Blackhawks 59-53 in a game at Lewis & Clark High School.

Hilburn’s points came on 5 field goals and 7 of 10 free throws during the game.

Jakeb Vallance added 20. Cheney fell to 2-14-1 overall while Lewis & Clark improved their record to 7-10.

Cheney’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Feb. 2 versus Rogers. Lewis & Clark will travel to Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on Monday Feb. 7 to play Ferris.
