Curtis Vikings edge Sumner Spartans 62-58 in Washington high school basketball game

Curtis Combo Guard Tyce Paulsen led all scorers with 19 points as the Vikings beat Sumner Spartans 62-58 in a game at Curtis Senior High School.

Paulsen’s points came on 2 field goals, 2 three pointers and 9 of 9 free throws during the game.

Ty Edwards added 18. Sumner fell to 4-4 overall while Curtis improved their record to 8-3.

Sumner’s next game is scheduled to be played at Puyallup High School on Friday Jan. 14 versus Puyallup. Curtis will host Bellarmine Prep on Saturday Jan. 15
