Mead Panthers defeat University Titans 67-55 in Washington high school basketball game

Mead Guard Justin Sands led all scorers with 17 points as the Panthers beat University Titans 67-55 in a game at University High School.

Sands’ points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Jeremiah Sibley added 14. University fell to 12-6 overall while Mead improved their record to 7-10.

University’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 4 versus Mt. Spokane. Mead will travel to Ridgeline High School on Wednesday Feb. 2 to play Ridgeline.
