Ferris’ Trace Atkins led all scorers with 18 points as the Saxons beat Mead Panthers 65-59 in a game at Spokane, WA.
Atkins’ points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 1 of 3 free throws during the game.
Zack Reighard added 14. Mead fell to 0-1 overall while Ferris improved their record to 1-0.
Mead’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 3 versus Mt. Spokane. Ferris will host Ridgeline on Tuesday Dec. 7
