West Valley16 17’s Colin Sather led all scorers with 19 points as the Eagles beat Newport 61-39 in a game at WVHS #1.”

Sather’s points came on 8 field goals and 1 three pointer during the game.

Newport was led by Danny Bradbury’s 15 points and Robby Owen added 6. Newport fell to 0-1 overall while West Valley16 17 improved their record to 3-3.

West Valley16 17 will travel to Clarkston on Tuesday Jan. 3 at 7:15pm to play Clarkston.
