Cheney edges East Valley 57-52

Cheney’s Camden Verstrate led all scorers with 10 points as the Blackhawks beat East Valley 57-52 in a game at East Valley High School.”

Verstrate’s points came on 2 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

East Valley was led by Jeremiah Hillard’s 15 points and De Vonte Gorman added 14. East Valley fell to 3-5 overall while Cheney improved their record to 1-2.

East Valley’s next game is scheduled to be played at Pullman High School on Saturday Jan. 21 at 4:30pm versus Pullman Boys 16 17. Cheney will host Pullman Boys 16 17 on Friday Jan. 20 at 5:30pm.
