Emerald Ridge’s Jason Cassens led all scorers with 23 points as the Jaguars beat Mount Rainer 62-55 in a game at ERHS.”

Cassens’ points came on 1 field goal, 5 three pointers and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

Mount Rainer was led by Jordan Magee’s 16 points and Barinder Sandhu added 15. Mount Rainer fell to 0-1 overall while Emerald Ridge improved their record to 10-6.

Emerald Ridge will travel to Mount Tahoma on Saturday Feb. 11 at 5:10pm to play Kentwood.
