Mount Vernon’s Liam Johnston led all scorers with 21 points as the Bulldogs beat Everett 64-55 in a game at Everett High School.”

Johnston’s points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Everett was led by 26 points and added 17. Everett fell to 0-2 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 29-8.

Mount Vernon will host Mountlake Terrace on Sunday Mar. 5 at 1:00pm.
