Sumner Guard AJ Andino led the way with 16 points as the Spartans beat EMERALD RIDGE 61-51 in a game at Sumner HS.”

Andino’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

EMERALD RIDGE was led by Tyler Matthew’s 23 points and Jerry Hayes added 9. EMERALD RIDGE fell to 3-15 overall while Sumner improved their record to 7-8.

EMERALD RIDGE’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 26 at 7:00pm versus Curtis. Sumner will travel to Curtis HS on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:00pm to play Curtis.
