Bellarmine Prep defeats Sumner 63-57

Bellarmine Prep Guard Jaylen Scott led all scorers with 24 points as the Lions beat Sumner 63-57 in a game at Sumner HS.”

Scott’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 8 of 10 free throws during the game.

Sumner was led by Thane Birrer’s 18 points and Luke Ross added 9. Sumner fell to 7-4 overall while Bellarmine Prep improved their record to 6-5.

Sumner’s next game is scheduled to be played at Rogers HS on Friday Jan. 5 at 7:00pm versus Rogers. Bellarmine Prep will host EMERALD RIDGE on Friday Jan. 5 at 7:00pm.
