Bishop Blanchet defeats Kentwood 46-39

Bishop Blanchet’s Jarek Woodward led all scorers with 13 points as the Braves beat Kentwood 46-39 in a game at Kentwood High School.”

Woodward’s points came on 2 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Kentwood was led by D’Angelo Minnis’ 12 points and Jahvonta Jones Jr. added 7. Kentwood fell to 0-1 overall while Bishop Blanchet improved their record to 1-0.

Kentwood’s next game is scheduled to be played at Fife HS on Saturday Dec. 2 at 4:00pm versus Union. Bishop Blanchet will host Bainbridge on Friday Dec. 1 at 8:30pm.
