Garfield’s J’raan Brooks led all scorers with 25 points as the Bulldogs beat Cleveland 81-65 in a game at Garfield HS.”

Brooks’ points came on 8 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Cleveland was led by C.J. Elleby’s 16 points and Mubarak Michael added 12. Cleveland fell to 0-0 overall while Garfield improved their record to 1-0.

Cleveland’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 15 at 8:30pm versus Bainbridge. Garfield will host Bainbridge on Tuesday Dec. 5 at 7:30pm.
