Lake Stevens’ Ryder Kavanagh led all scorers with 25 points as the Vikings beat Mariner 70-56 in a game at Lake Stevens HS.”

Kavanagh’s points came on 6 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Mariner was led by Edwin Bouah’s 16 points and Topaziyon’TK’ Kipabut added 10. Mariner fell to 0-2 overall while Lake Stevens improved their record to 3-5.

Mariner’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm versus Cascade. Lake Stevens will travel to Cascade HS on Friday Jan. 5 at 7:15pm to play Cascade.
