Highline Guard Gerald Hood led all scorers with 23 points as the Pirates beat Lynnwood 66-61 in a game at Lynnwood HS.”

Hood’s points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 7 free throws during the game.

Lynnwood was led by Jayden Acosta’s 16 points and Alex Macias added 15. Lynnwood fell to 0-1 overall while Highline improved their record to 0-0.

Lynnwood’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 1 at 7:15pm versus Kingston. Highline will travel to Mt. Rainier on Friday Dec. 22 at 5:00pm to play Mt. Rainier.
