Freeman Guard Michael coumont led all scorers with 38 points as the Scotties beat Chewelah 94-53 in a game at Freeman HS.”

coumont’s points came on 10 field goals, 5 three pointers and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Chewelah was led by Dawson Youngblood’s 19 points and elan Krausz added 10. Chewelah fell to 8-4 overall while Freeman improved their record to 12-0.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 7:30pm versus Lakeside. Freeman will travel to Newport HS on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 7:30pm to play Newport.
