Mount Vernon Point Guard Carlos Garcia led all scorers with 15 points as the Bulldogs beat Oak Harbor 47-36 in a game at Oak Harbor High School.”

Garcia’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Oak Harbor was led by Gabe Salinger’s 12 points and Terrell Crumpton added 6. Oak Harbor fell to 1-2 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 2-6.

Mount Vernon will host Marysville Getchell on Friday Dec. 29 at 7:15pm.
