Bellevue Guard Spencer Birkeland led all scorers with 19 points as the Wolverines beat Mercer Island 61-57 in a game at Bellevue HS.”

Birkeland’s points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Mercer Island was led by Griffin Emanuels’ 21 points and William Lee added 13. Mercer Island fell to 4-6 overall while Bellevue improved their record to 1-1.
