Toppenish edges Ephrata 63-61

Toppenish’s Isiah Perez led all scorers with 21 points as the Wildcats beat Ephrata 63-61 in a game at Ephrata High School.”

Perez’s points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Ephrata was led by Caden Blankenship’s 16 points and Hunter James added 11. Ephrata fell to 3-1 overall while Toppenish improved their record to 2-0.

Ephrata’s next game is scheduled to be played at Wapato High School on Saturday Dec. 9 at 7:15pm versus Wapato. Toppenish will host Selah on Saturday Dec. 9 at 7:15pm.
