Ephrata edges Wapato 67-66

Ephrata’s Jakob Oxos led all scorers with 20 points as the Tigers beat Wapato 67-66 in a game at Ephrata High School.”

Oxos’ points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Wapato was led by DaMarius Brown’s 18 points and Dejuan Davis added 9. Wapato fell to 9-5 overall while Ephrata improved their record to 9-6.

Wapato’s next game is scheduled to be played at East Valley on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:15pm versus East Valley. Ephrata will host Selah on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:15pm.
