Mount Vernon Point Guard Carlos Garcia led the way with 20 points as the Bulldogs beat Lake Stevens Vikings 81-79 in a game at Lake Stevens, WA.

Joe Gonzalez added 19. Lake Stevens fell to 0-2 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 1-0.

Lake Stevens’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 3 at 7:15pm versus Glacier Peak. Mount Vernon will host Oak Harbor on Friday Dec. 27 at 7:15pm.
