Sumner beats Puyallup 74-64

Sumner Guard Cody Tanneberg led all scorers with 28 points as the Spartans beat Puyallup 74-64 in a game at Sumner High School.”

Tanneberg’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 16 of 19 free throws during the game.

Puyallup was led by Jacob Holcomb’s 22 points and Landen Neff added 17. Puyallup fell to 1-1 overall while Sumner improved their record to 2-0.

Puyallup’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 5 at 7:00pm versus EMERALD RIDGE. Sumner will travel to Fife HS on Saturday Dec. 2 at 12:00am to play Fife.
