St. Petersburg’s s smith led all scorers with 37 points as the Green Devils beat Franklin 96-94 in a game at Santa Fe Christian school.”

smith’s points came on 7 field goals, 5 three pointers and 8 of 11 free throws during the game.

Franklin was led by Maurice Barnett’s 26 points and Javion Garrett added 23. Franklin fell to 8-1 overall while St. Petersburg improved their record to 0-0.

Franklin’s next game is scheduled to be played at West Seattle HS on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 7:30pm versus West Seattle.
