Evergreen Guard Dwight Jones led all scorers with 18 points as the Plainsmen beat Mountain View 78-69 in a game at Evergreen High School.”

Jones’ points came on 1 field goal, 4 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Mountain View was led by Phillip Earnhart’s 17 points and Rodolpho Montiel added 9. Mountain View fell to 3-9 overall while Evergreen improved their record to 4-7.

Mountain View’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:00pm versus Fort Vancouver. Evergreen will travel to Prairie HS on Friday Jan. 19 at 7:00pm to play Prairie.
