Bellarmine Prep Guard Charles Elzie led all scorers with 25 points as the Lions beat Kennedy Catholic 53-48 in a game at Wilson HS.”

Elzie’s points came on 8 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 6 free throws during the game.

Kennedy Catholic was led by Anders Hunt’s 14 points and Matthew Macias added 11. Kennedy Catholic fell to 16-5 overall while Bellarmine Prep improved their record to 14-9.

Bellarmine Prep will travel to Mount Tahoma HS on Wednesday Feb. 14 at 7:45pm to play Kentwood.
