Mercer Island Islanders defeat Issaquah Eagles 70-57 in Washington high school basketball game

Mercer Island Guard Joe Gormley led all scorers with 18 points as the Islanders beat Issaquah Eagles 70-57 in a game.

Gormley’s points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Timmy Crandall added 11. Issaquah fell to 1-0 overall while Mercer Island improved their record to 1-0.

Issaquah’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Dec. 1 at 7:00pm versus Mount Rainier. Mercer Island will host Eastlake on Saturday Dec. 1 at 7:15pm.
