Mercer Island Islanders defeat Liberty Patriots 50-31 in Washington high school basketball game

Mercer Island Center David Pickles led the way with 11 points as the Islanders beat Liberty Patriots 50-31 in a game at Mercer Island High School.

Pickles’ points came on 3 field goals and 5 of 8 free throws during the game.

Jarod Roberson added 6. Liberty fell to 9-5 overall while Mercer Island improved their record to 11-4.

Liberty’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 18 at 8:00pm versus Interlake. Mercer Island will travel to Juanita High School on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:15pm to play Juanita.
