Ferris Saxons cruises by Mead Panthers 65-45 in Washington high school basketball game

Ferris Guard Reece Van Lierop led all scorers with 26 points as the Saxons beat Mead Panthers 65-45 in a game.

Van Lierop’s points came on 2 field goals, 7 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Sam Wenkheimer added 11. Mead fell to 3-14 overall while Ferris improved their record to 12-5.

Mead’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 25 at 5:30pm versus Gonzaga Prep. Ferris will travel to on Friday Jan. 25 at 5:30pm to play Rogers.
