North Central Forward Leon Sayers led all scorers with 18 points as the Indians beat Lake City Timberwolves 39-33 in a game.

Sayers’ points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 9 free throws during the game.

Seth Hanson added 6. Lake City fell to 0-1 overall while North Central improved their record to 2-4.

Lake City’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Dec. 29 at 11:00am versus Columbia River. North Central will host Mead on Tuesday Dec. 18 at 5:30pm.
