Capital Cougars edges Mark Morris Monarchs 54-51 in Washington high school basketball game

Capital Post Brandin Riedel led the way with 16 points as the Cougars beat Mark Morris Monarchs 54-51 in a game at Mark Morris High School.

Riedel’s points came on 8 field goals during the game.

Jack Shipley added 8. Mark Morris fell to 3-4 overall while Capital improved their record to 5-2.

Mark Morris’ next game is scheduled to be played at SunDome on Thursday Dec. 27 at 12:00pm versus Bellingham. Capital will host Fort Vancouver on Saturday Dec. 22 at 6:00pm.
