Cheney Blackhawks edges East Valley Knights 50-45 in Washington high school basketball game

Cheney’s Kaiden Custer led the way with 17 points as the Blackhawks beat East Valley Knights 50-45 in a game.

Custer’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 9 free throws during the game.

Nick Whallon added 7. East Valley fell to 2-14 overall while Cheney improved their record to 8-6.

East Valley’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 7:00pm versus Pullman. Cheney will host Pullman on Saturday Jan. 19 at 4:30pm.
