Cheney Blackhawks beat East Valley Knights 65-54 in Washington high school basketball game

Cheney’s Camden Verstrate led the way with 20 points as the Blackhawks beat East Valley Knights 65-54 in a game.

Verstrate’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Reece Rasmussen added 12. East Valley fell to 2-17 overall while Cheney improved their record to 11-7.

East Valley’s next game is scheduled to be played at Clarkston High School on Tuesday Feb. 5 at 11:00am versus Clarkston. Cheney will travel to on Friday Feb. 1 at 7:00pm to play Pullman.
