Deer Park STAGS cruises by Chewelah Cougars 65-34 in Washington high school basketball game

Deer Park Guard Isaac Berglund led all scorers with 18 points as the STAGS beat Chewelah Cougars 65-34 in a game at Chewelah.

Berglund’s points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 7 free throws during the game.

Nicholas Franks added 9. Chewelah fell to 1-1 overall while Deer Park improved their record to 1-0.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Dec. 1 at 5:30pm versus Selkirk. Deer Park will host Freeman on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 5:30pm.
