Newport Grizzlies cruises by Chewelah Cougars 73-47 in Washington high school basketball game

Newport’s Ben Krogh led all scorers with 19 points as the Grizzlies beat Chewelah Cougars 73-47 in a game at Newport High School.

Krogh’s points came on 5 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Jaron Baldwin added 13. Chewelah fell to 2-3 overall.

Chewelah’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 7:30pm versus Riverside. Newport will host Lakeside on Friday Dec. 14 at 5:30pm.
