Chewelah Cougars cruises by Wilbur-Creston Wildcats 65-44 in Washington high school basketball game

Chewelah Point Guard Jaron Baldwin led all scorers with 20 points as the Cougars beat Wilbur-Creston Wildcats 65-44 in a game at Wilbur.

Baldwin’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Alex Ruzsa added 10. Wilbur Creston fell to 0-3 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 7-8.

Wilbur Creston’s next game is scheduled to be played at St. George’s High School on Saturday Jan. 19 at 10:00am versus St. George’s. Chewelah will host Davenport on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:30pm.
