EMERALD RIDGE Jaguars edges Sumner Spartans 64-63 in Washington high school basketball game

Emerald Ridge’s Logan Short led the way with 20 points as the Jaguars beat Sumner Spartans 64-63 in a game at Sumner High School.

Short’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Aj Andino added 19. Sumner fell to 1-2 overall while Emerald Ridge improved their record to 2-3.

Sumner’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 14 at 7:00pm versus Rogers. Emerald Ridge will host Puyallup on Friday Dec. 14 at 7:00pm.
