Puyallup Vikings edges Battle Ground Tigers 71-68 in Washington high school basketball game

Puyallup’s Cobi Campbell led the way with 23 points as the Vikings beat Battle Ground Tigers 71-68 in a game at Puyallup High School.

Campbell’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 7 free throws during the game.

Brendan Beall added 13. Battle Ground fell to 0-1 overall while Puyallup improved their record to 1-0.

Battle Ground’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Nov. 29 at 7:00pm versus Hudson’s Bay. Puyallup will travel to on Tuesday Dec. 4 at 7:00pm to play Bellarmine Prep.
