Bellarmine Prep Lions defeat Sumner Spartans 60-53 in Washington high school basketball game

Bellarmine Prep’s Nic Ferenecko led all scorers with 19 points as the Lions beat Sumner Spartans 60-53 in a game at Sumner.

Ferenecko’s points came on 1 field goal, 4 three pointers and 5 of 5 free throws during the game.

Cody Tanneberg added 12. Sumner fell to 8-9 overall while Bellarmine Prep improved their record to 2-15.

Sumner’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 25 at 7:00pm versus South Kitsap. Bellarmine Prep will host Rogers on Friday Jan. 25 at 7:00pm.
