Santa Monica Vikings edges Wilson Rams 64-60 in Washington high school basketball game

Santa Monica Guard Sean Newman Jr. led the way with 13 points as the Vikings beat Wilson Rams 64-60 in a game.

Newman Jr.’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Damani Green added 16. Wilson fell to 5-2 overall while Santa Monica improved their record to 1-0.

Wilson’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Dec. 27 at 5:12pm versus Redondo Union. Santa Monica will travel to Cerritos College on Saturday Jan. 19 at 9:00am to play Rolling Hills Prep.
