Shelton Highclimbers edges Mountain View Thunder 58-56 in Washington high school basketball game

Shelton’s Ty Thompson led all scorers with 22 points as the Highclimbers beat Mountain View Thunder 58-56 in a game at Auburn Mountain View High School.

Thompson’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 8 free throws during the game.

Devin Velott added 11. Mountain View fell to 11-12 overall while Shelton improved their record to 13-9.

Mountain View’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Oct. 4 at 7:00pm versus Hockinson. Shelton will host Wilson on Friday Feb. 15 at 7:45pm.
